The Building Physics Research Group (BPRG™), led by Ph.D. Sihwan Lee, is based in the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering at Tokyo University of Science. We specialize in architecture science, focusing on fields such as thermodynamics, heat and mass transfer, fluid dynamics, HVAC system, acoustic and lighting environments, and advanced numerical analysis. The BPRG™ is dedicated to investigating complex problems and developing solutions related to ventilation, energy efficiency, thermal comfort, and indoor air quality within the built environment. Our projects range from measuring indoor air pollution exposure to simulating airflow dynamics using computational fluid modeling.
